Mediator Neutrality, Activism and Justice Self-Determination

One significant criticism of some activism on the part of mediators in order that justice be assured both procedurally and substantively is that a mediator will compromise her neutrality. Ideas can be drawn from the recent Supreme Court case discussing the issue of impartiality for judges as apply generally to impartiality or neutrality in relation to justice and mediation issues.
